Wavy Clock

Just a Minute! Inspired by the #WaveyWednesday movement on Twitter, which was inspired in part by Ferjerez's wavy creations, I came up with this "Wavy Clock" idea. Made to take a clock mechanism and some clock hands once printed, it can be hung in the home or office for a unique accent piece. While not particularly hard to print, you may find that some slicers don't slice it quite right in vase mode due to the hole in the center. Slic3r PE adds extra layers on top, which will mess up the spiral shape. However, Cura does a great job of slicing it correctly. Kisslicer also seems to get it right, although I haven't tried printing gCode generated by Kisslicer for this model. Be sure to take a close look at your slicer's preview mode (which displays the tool path) after slicing in vase mode. Ensure that the center hole isn't covered and that the vase path looks valid. For an extra accent, try a layer change if your printer supports it to highlight the numbers. If you like this model, please share it with others! If you print this model, consider posting your make online. And if you LOVE this and want to support my future work, consider a small tip - I promise to use it only for printing supplies!
