Originating from the early 1900s book "Children's Toy-Making," a picture of which can be viewed at https://www.pdfclassicbooks.com/images/source/Crafts-Hobbies/Children-Toy-Making/Children-Toy-Making-258.jpg, the book lacked plans, prompting me to create my own mechanisms based on the idea. Using Solidworks 2015 for modeling and Simlab Composer 6 Mechanical Edition for rendering, frames were edited with Virtualdub and saved as AVI/X264 and BMP formats. The video was remuxed to MP4 using MyMP4BoxGui, while Gifs were created in PhotoScape. Edits to renders were performed in IrfanView. Both 3D-PDF and ZIM files contain animations, with the latter being viewable on IOS and Android devices through the free Simlab Viewer app. The model is available in a variety of file formats including Solidworks 2015, Simlab Composer 6, DAE, STEP, IGES, STL, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
