Wavetek DM27XT Back Support Arm

My father broke the support arm on his Wavetek Back Support, so I attempted contacting the company for a replacement. Unfortunately, they didn't respond. As a result, I decided to make my own using 3D printing technology. This is my first attempt at designing in openscad and I ensured accurate scaling with a caliper. However, I don't have a printer yet (ordered one with a four-week wait time). Hopefully, someone finds this design useful. I will update once I get a printout and test it. The actual design features a hollow arm, but I am unsure if ABS material is necessary for this feature. Currently, the design may be challenging to print; however, I'm confident I'll find a solution or someone here will assist me.
