A case was necessary to cradle the Waveshare 128X128 OLED screen for my boost gauge project. The OLED is secured to the back plate with five millimeter long, three millimeter countersink screws. The top cover fits snugly and can be sealed in place if desired. No cut-outs were made for the cable, as the display can be rotated freely in any direction, depending on whether you use the pinouts or connector.
