Wave holder for remotes and other accessories
prusaprinters

I don’t like the way most remotes look - perhaps the combination of it and its surroundings? The intent of this design is to unobtrusively highlight the remote or other items placed on the holder. At the same time, elicit a visual curiosity when it is not holding anything.

This design also incorporates a desire to have a holder which is as unobtrusive as possible in retrieving the items from the holder. By creating small curves, it allows the user to retrieve items without being obstructed by large side walls or cumbersome elements.

Furthermore, I wanted a design that looks simple in everyday use but is more difficult to create via traditional subtractive methods - in the spirit of highlighting the capabilities of 3d printers going from digital to tangible.

“Build it once, use it twice.” I love when designs are made once and happen to be useful for multiple purposes or can be appropriated to effectively fill a need. For me at least, this is the case with this design.

=== design
===========================================================

===reversibility
This design can be placed down or up. One side will have n curves. The other side with have n-1 curves.

===provided files
The default: 0mm curves with open ends will accommodate most rectangular style remotes.
