A versatile battery container for AA or AAA batteries that operates on a first-in first-out basis. This parameterized OpenSCAD model can be easily customized to accommodate various battery types, including AAAA and C cells. To do so, simply measure the batteries in question and adjust the corresponding parameters within the model to create a tailored holder suited to your specific needs. The amplitude and period of the wave pattern can also be modified at will. For storing larger quantities of batteries, the container's height can be increased; however, excessive height may compromise stability due to its top-heavy design. As for the dovetail joints, they are intentionally tapered and, on my 3D printer, fit snugly with the struts slightly below the surface. I'd love to hear about your experiences with this design element. Some users have reported difficulties assembling the piece, so I've included undersized struts specifically designed for AA-sized holders. If you test these out, please share your findings and let me know how they perform.
