A versatile battery holder for AA or AAA batteries that loads first-in, first-out. This parameterized OpenSCAD model allows you to create a custom battery holder for your specific needs. To accommodate AAAA or C cells, simply measure the batteries and adjust the parameters in the model accordingly. You can also modify the amplitude of the wave and period to suit your preferences. For storing multiple batteries, you can increase the height of the holder, but be aware that excessive height may cause instability. I have not exhaustively tested all possible parameter settings, so please share any discoveries you make. Be cautious when shortening the period, as it may lead to battery jamming issues. Another consideration is the dovetail joints, which are tapered and designed to fit snugly with the struts on your printer. On my own printer, the dovetails wedge tightly against the struts, slightly below the surface level. Your experience may vary; some users have reported difficulty assembling the parts. To address this issue, I have created undersized struts for the AA size holder, featuring a smaller dovetail design. If you test these modifications, please share your findings.
