Watermeter Sensor Mount for LJ12A3
thingiverse
This is a water meter mount for a 12 mm LJ12A3 inductive proximity sensor. It is used for measuring the water consumption off a water meter that has a rotating wheel with metal part. Diameter about 78 mm fits best. The top can be printed with layer height 0.3 mm and infill 20%. I would print the non-threaded side at 0.3 mm 100% infill and the threaded version at 0.2 mm 100% infill. The non-threaded version is intended for use with a M5 nut plate. I've added STEP files in case you want to do some editing, easier than STL :) Strap the side part with two tie-wraps to the watermeter. Screw the sensor into the top part and connect to the side part with a M5 20mm bolt. Align the sensor right on top of the rotating wheel but a bit eccentric. Provide power to the sensor and let the water flow. On each turn of the wheel (often equals 1 liter) the red light turns on and off. If not, realign the sensor mount.
