Watering spike

Watering spike

There is several different kind of watering spikes available, but I didn't get those working like I wanted, so I created my own :).This one has only four holes which reduces the time it takes the bottle to get empty. The thread is regular 28mm used in water bottles, coca cola bottles and such. The watering spike comes in two parts (split to objects in the slicer), the spike and the thread. The reason for having it in two parts is to get a proper seal for the bottle to avoid getting air to the bottle through the thread. Because of that there would be nasty overhangs without splitting the design. After printing you can just glue the two parts together.I printed this with PETG 0,2mm layer height and 15% infill. It is better to use brim, but supports are not needed when printing in two parts. It takes a bit below 2 hours to print.UPDATE: Added two other models with smaller hole sizes. The original has 1,5mm holes and I added one with 1mm and other one with 0,5mm holes. To be hones I haven't used the new ones myself. I made these to help people who feel the water amount is too big with the original model. Please give your feedback…especially from the new alternatives.
