Watering Rocket End Piece - Modified
thingiverse
Used for maintaining a consistent water level in seed trays or small pots. I employ a piece of inner tube rubber, cut to size, to seal the gap between the bottle and nozzle, preventing leaks from occurring. Recreated from scratch with modifications to an existing design. Version 1: The cone at the bottom has been transformed into a cylinder to allow for easy refilling without removing the attachment. This change also resolves issues related to water flow caused by the suction created when bottles deform. Version 2: The thickness of the tube in the threaded section has been increased to enhance its strength and durability, particularly at areas prone to failure from previous designs. The thread pitch has been adjusted to 2.8 mm to accommodate bottles that are readily available. Additionally, the number of stands has been reduced from four to three to minimize filament usage. If alternative thread pitches are required, feel free to leave a comment, and I'll be happy to provide them.
