This new design for a watering can spout offers variable water flow through a continuously adjustable nozzle. It is securely attached to the can using two different adapters - one for inner centring and another for outer centring. The nozzle's axial movement is controlled by turning a knurled cap, with left turns increasing water flow and right turns decreasing or stopping it. Key features include a 0.75 mm pitch for threads, a 0.25 mm modulus for gear wheels, and a 1.25 mm pitch for axial movement. The nozzle's maximum stroke is reached after turning the cap about 4.8 times, and it operates on a non-rotating axial moveable threaded spindle principle. A cylindrical pin fixes the nozzle in place radially, while a pressed-on bushing stops backward movement. The design also includes a rubber grip sleeve for comfort.
