Watering Can Head

Watering Can Head

thingiverse

We required a watering can with a small enough sprinkler head for a 4-year-old to use easily. However, it appears that such an item is not readily available on the market. This tiny sprinkler head fits perfectly onto a small watering can purchased from Walmart for $1.79, which has a spout diameter of approximately 14mm. To attach it securely, I cut the spout flat, filled the slot in the sprinkler head with hot glue, and then pushed it on - and it works beautifully! Silicone or E6000 could also work well, but hot glue is quick, affordable, and got the job done because my daughter needed to water her seeds urgently. I've included a Fusion360 file for anyone interested in creating different-sized holes or modifying it to fit various watering can sizes. If you decide to adapt this design, I'd love to see your remix!
