This is a straightforward watering can filter, simply insert it into the hole in your can where the spout meets the body. Its primary purpose is to prevent muck from entering your rose head and clogging it up. The scad file comes with configurator settings, allowing you to tailor its design to fit your specific can perfectly. The included stl is specifically designed for an 8L Haws can. To use this filter, you'll need the openscad [BOSL library] from github.
