Watergun Repair Kit
thingiverse
One of my twin girls' new watergun malfunctioned on its first use, leaving me no choice but to repair it immediately since all stores were closed for the upcoming bank holidays. The water nozzle came loose, and part of it broke off while another end needed to be replaced due to a misplaced sealing ring. Disappointing quality considering the short lifespan - I accepted the challenge nonetheless. I removed the old parts, cut down a section of the pipe, and designed new fittings with sturdier adapters. These components were assembled and glued together, securing them firmly to both the pipe and each other. Given that my girls are 4.5 years old, this setup has stood the test of time, and we've experienced uninterrupted water fights during our free days without any blockages. I printed the new parts using standard settings, opting for default silver/grey Prusa PLA with a 0.2mm layer height and 30% infill.
