Waterford Mill Trench 1 (ACA 2019)

Three-dimensional modelers carefully crafted an excavation trench one from the Waterford Mill's ruins situated adjacent to the township of Waterford in Minnesota and on the Cannon River within Carleton College's Cowling Arboretum. In spring 2019, Carleton students meticulously mapped and excavated this site as part of their ARCN 246: Archaeological Methods and Lab course under Professor Alex Knodell's expert guidance. Using Agisoft PhotoscanPro, a three-dimensional model was skillfully created for the final project.
