My sister's Fairy Herb Garden is getting a major upgrade, thanks to her daughter's enthusiasm! She wanted a stunning waterfall feature, so I channeled my DIY skills to create a solar-powered pump using leftover components from an automatic tomato watering project that I had in progress. The original project can be viewed on her blog at https://craftinvaders.co.uk/making-a-solar-powered-waterfall-for-our-fairy-herb-garden/. Although the initial system performed admirably, we decided to take it up a notch by increasing the flow rate of the waterfall. My sister picked up a budget-friendly solar power water pump specifically designed for small ponds, and I got to work on designing and building this upgraded version. Please keep in mind that you'll need to carefully punch through the hole from the tube connector to allow the pump to fill the reservoir smoothly.
