Waterfall

This was the third robot built by our team for the 2019-2020 Skystone season, and its primary objective was to deliver a streamlined package capable of stacking blocks efficiently and cycling stones to our alliance partners with ease. Our collector and depositor package played a crucial role in achieving this goal. When the claw is fully closed on the robot, it restricts the stone from entering the rest of the mechanism, enabling swift intake and outtake of stones. Conversely, if the claw is open, stones are allowed to enter the robot, giving drivers the flexibility to manipulate them onto the towers as needed. Another key feature was the incorporation of precise calculations into this robot's design. The team planned the vertical lift to withstand a maximum load of 5 pounds of force, allowing us to replace a servo with a motor for our horizontal extension and achieve wickedly fast stone deployment, thereby enabling drivers to stack stones more effectively.
