Update 2016-04-10: A double-wide, double-high sponge cup and new default arrangement have been added to the OpenSCAD file. This program generates small cups perfect for holding watercolor paints. The idea came from an instructable at www.instructables.com/id/Movable-Pallet-Altoid-Tin-Watercolor-Set/. Commercial products may be cheaper, but these homemade cups are useful if only a few colors are needed. Additional code allows users to create rounded corner tool trays and long cup examples, perfect for sawed-off paintbrushes. Users can hack basic_cup_size or xl_cup_size arrays for different sizes, including the 14mm height to accommodate a hinge cutout. A 19mm x 15.25mm footprint fits up to 16 cups in one tin with a snug fit. Adjusting sizes while maintaining multiples of 19mm and 15.25mm should allow cups to still fit together.
