A magical floating ball of water Terrain for 28mm scale miniature games; perfect for any tabletop RPG. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. This piece represents an unusual magical phenomenon or spell effect: a floating ball of water! The two halves fit together snugly and can even allow you to capture a model inside! Print it in clear or clear blue resin to enhance the effect! Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. This waterball model was sculpted for my home game as I was running a Princes of the Apocalypse/Temple of Elemental Evil campaign. They were a prominent feature of the Water level, so much so that I felt they deserved their own model! All Dark-Platypus Studios models are sculpted by sculptor Andrew K. Barlow (me), and no AI is ever involved. All models have been checked for errors and test-printed.
