Water Valve Box In-Wall Mount
thingiverse
There was an opportunity to upgrade a straightforward water line running through a wall, and as a result, it was determined to add a stylish box at the same time. One screw in the upper right corner is all that keeps this in place. Used #6 x 1 1/4 (I think) drywall screws to secure the clamp for the valve. All the components used were purchased from Home Depot and the part numbers are listed on the packaging, making it easy for anyone else to replicate the process immediately. You will want to go back in and adjust it a bit to ensure the wall plate fits your specific preferences. Note: Use a bit extra Teflon tape when attaching the 3/8 compression adapter to the valve to prevent leaks. I utilized PetG because PLA is not suited for water environments. The OpenScad file is included so you can learn from my experience, just as I did.
