Water Tap Aspirator

Water Tap Aspirator

A DIY Aspirator (Ejector Pump) created for use with my shower hose, aimed at removing bubbles from casting silicone. Unfortunately, the suction power falls short of expectations. Dimensions were sourced from http://www.sciencemadness.org/talk/viewthread.php?tid=437&page=2#pid26692. Although it was a fun project to make, I found that the device does provide some suction force, as seen in this video: https://youtu.be/uEUXWsJwZyU. To give you a better idea of its performance, watch this balloon expanding slightly under the aspirator's power: https://youtu.be/fvkRf5I8gr0. You may need to adjust the threading on your hose or tap to get optimal results. One potential area for improvement is the pipe connector, which can be easily pushed too far into the aspirator.
