A traditional style water tower for the 7mm scale narrow gauge model railway (Heritage line) The tank prints in one piece, right way up with no support. The legs are printed in four sides and are mitred to fit together. This fitting together is very fiddly and needs to be accurate to match the size of the tank. Th photo shows how I did it. The legs are wired together top and bottom so that they can be pulled tight together, then the legs structure is taped right way up on to the tank so the foot of each side lines up with the tank. The sides will next be fixed together with epoxy run down the inside of the joint of the legs. (there is a space) After that the tank and its lid will be fixed to the legs. Also included is a water pipe with control (3 parts) that can be fixed to the underside of the tank - position to suit. An earlier version that seemed too small for the job will be used as a diesel tank for the railway's one and only diesel loco - possibly with a second tank (printed in error) stacked to make a cubic tank.
