A digital water tank and loading area for sand are being created, complete with virtual water to hose down the sand. The goal is to digitize various tanks for use in petroleum work examples. Hopefully, some good fuel systems will be found to display here. 20mm resolution has been working well so far - the data is exported from Faro's Scene software as a .PTS file, then decimated (20mm) and cropped in AutoDesk's Recap, then exported again as another .PTS file, before being converted to a .TXT file to move it into Meshlab for saving as a .PLY file containing only vertices.
