Water Sprinkler
prusaprinters

This is a simple yard/garden water sprinkler. It has no moving parts and creates approx a 30' (10m) diameter spray of water. It is printable with no supports required. The triangular outriggers are added to allow for a "Spike" or tent-peg to be pushed into the ground to hold the unit stable and flat. If placed on a hard surface like macadam (for children to play in the spray?), the active water pressure holds the sprinkler down nicely.

You will need to provide a rubber hose gasket to prevent leaking at the connection.

I attached a small Vid of it in operation:

<oembed url="http://youtu.be/t-0O5fomYsM"></oembed>

Print instructions

I originally printed mine using PLA with 3 walls and 50% infill. I have not yet had a chance to run a print using PETG, but I am confident that would be a better option to handle higher pressures.

The sliced file has not yet been tested. My Prusa i3 MK3 is still in shipping. If you are able to print using this file before I am able to get my new machine online, please let me know. I have printed many of these from the STL (Makerbot Rep2), and am confident in the design.
