This connector is engineered to pair a typical Pope hose adapter with a regular soda canister. Its creator aimed to meet international standards for soft drink containers and incorporated a flange that seals the connection between the adapter and the canister, thereby eliminating the need for a rubber gasket - an essential component in most other designs. The developer has successfully tested this connector under 160psi pressure.
