This is a multi-piece fin bracket for water rockets that allows fins to be bolted into place and securely tightened around the rocket body, yet can also be easily removed. The file must be printed six times to yield enough pieces. Six M3x8 bolts, preferably nylon for safety reasons, are required to hold the fins in position. These brackets are specifically designed for UK-spec 2-liter soft drink bottles; however, they may not function with other diameter bottles, although minor variations in size might have no significant impact. To complete this project, you will need to create your own fins using materials like corflute or balsa wood. The fins require 3mm holes drilled at specific intervals and a small ridge cut for the bracket to fit properly (refer to the image).
