Water Reflection Pavilion - Makuhari

This Pavilion played a vital role as part of a groundbreaking housing project created by renowned architect Steven Holl in Makuhari, Japan, back in 1996. The architect envisioned it as an "active structure," a dynamic space where community members could engage in their daily activities with ease and enthusiasm. By incorporating water as a key element, the Pavilion dialogues seamlessly with its surroundings, effectively shaping the atmosphere of the environment. As an architecture student, I took on this 3D project for one of my classes, where I utilized some planes found online to bring this structure to life. Microstation was my go-to tool for recreating the building's intricate details and bringing it to fruition. Note: The images used are real and sourced from Google Images.
