Water Reflection Pavilion - Makuhari
thingiverse
This Pavillion is part of a groundbreaking housing project masterminded by renowned architect Steven Holl in Makuhari, Japan, in 1996. Conceived as an "active structure", it serves as a vibrant hub for the community's daily activities. The design seamlessly integrates with its surroundings by harnessing water as a dynamic element to shape the atmosphere. As a driven architecture student, I created this 3D project for a challenging subject. To bring my vision to life, I utilized planes sourced from the internet and skillfully modelated them into the Pavillion's intricate form. Microstation played a crucial role in accurately recreating the building's details. Note: The real photos used are extracted directly from Google.
