The water purification process in this system occurs through thermal distillation, involving vaporization and condensation of impure water into cleaner water. The upper chamber houses an evaporation unit heated by a resistance heating element, which separates dirt and pollutants. Steam produced travels through copper tubes to the lower collection chamber, where high thermal conductivity causes condensation into safe-to-drink water. This regenerative system can be easily disassembled for cleaning; O-rings maintain a secure seal without extra hardware.
