This is the 3D printed water driven eductor. If you need a capacity ratio of 0.8 : 1 - where 0.8 part of driven water to 1 part of sucked water - reduce nozzle diameter to 1 mm, but same way you will reduce pumping capacity. If so, post comment and I will add corrected STL model or print out current and insert into the nozzle a small piece of PVC or PTFE pipe outer dia 3 mm, inner 1-1.5 mm. IMPORTANT: need to create delivery head backpressure / backflow if you are using water to drive it. This is achieved by: 1) connecting a hose 20-30 cm to delivery end 2) closing 75-80% delivery end (by finger, plug, etc) 3) inserting any screen or partition inside delivery end 1 cm in deep 4) putting eductor delivery end into the water at least 2 cm in deep Venturi V1: just testing model, but it also works. Venturi V2: upgraded model with better characteristics: Suction ratio: 1.5:1 (1.5 parts of driven water required for 1 part of sucked water) Suction capacity: 200 ltrs/hr @ driven water pressure about 2.0 bars from 0.5 m suction head. Maximum suction head: 10 meters of water @ 1.8 Bars of driven water pressure Bonus: To test it in your shower room, you can find "Shower reducer" STL file - just connect it instead of shower head to shower flexible hose + use 10 cm of garden hose for eductor connection (find picture for reference). PRINTING: PLA was used for printing, ROTATE STL model VERTICALLY, delivery end to top. For V1 add support (touching bedplate only) - it's for suction pipe. For V2 no need any supports - print vertically, delivery end to top. Layer height 0.2 mm, nozzle 0.4 mm, 100% fill density. Shower reducer to be printed vertically, thread to top - for better results, layer height 0.2 mm, 100% density. With 100% fill density, filament consumption is 30 grams (9.7 meters of 1.75 mm). Driven water inlet fit for garden hose.
