I used a 3/8 inch rod for the shaft, allowing for ample space in the pump house so the impeller doesn't need to be perfectly centered. The drill I used spins at 2000 rpm. If you use a drill with lower rpm, the pressure will also be lower. Most cordless drills should fit because the clamp can be positioned on different places. I made the switch later in the project and it's not visible until the end of the video.
