Holder for two sensors of an automatic refilling system, a classic float switch, and an infrared sensor are required. The infrared sensor points upwards in this case but functions exceptionally well regardless. A protective grid ensures that no floating plants obstruct the sensors' operation. I attached the holder to a magnet system from Tunze for added stability. The design itself allows for minimal discrepancy between the intended water level and emergency shutdown activation.
