After purchasing a Fluval Flex 35l/9g, I quickly discovered some imperfections and opportunities for improvement. So, I started to redesign and add features. This is Part 5 of the project. The entire project will cover cooling, heating, lighting control, water refill (and any additional ideas I may have), using an ESP microcontroller without making any destructive modifications to the tank hardware. This is a holder for a hose from an automatic water level controller like a Tunze Osmolator nano or any other with a 6mm/0.25in hose. Print the parts and place the flex_clip over the hose. Secure it with the flex_screw_long through both holes and to the upper side of the holder. Next, insert the flex_screw_short into the other tapped hole but don't screw it in too far. Place the holder on the dividing wall between the intake chamber and the filter chamber and lock it into position by tightening the short screw. The hose easily fits through the gap at the middle of the lid. The models should be printed with the orientation specified in the STL files. All models can be printed without support. To assemble: print 1x flex_screw_short, 1x flex_screw_long, 1x flex_clip, and 1x flex_holder. Use PETG, PA, or any other food-safe material and soak the model in water for at least 24 hours before inserting it into the tank. [UPDATE 14/JUN/2019] I corrected the orientation of the screws.
