Water Lattice Vase
prusaprinters
This vase is one of my first attempts at making a lattice vase. I'd always wanted to design a vase using lattices and so recently on a rainy day, I had the time to learn how. While I was making it I noticed how water running down the mesh screens of my windows would create a little window of water in some of the holes, similar to the ones you'd see on a bubble wand before you blow a bubble. I liked how this effect looked so I tried to design my vase with that effect in mind. The lattice is designed with fairly small holes, so before putting flowers in the vase, if you dip the whole vase upside down into a bowl the wholes in the lattice will form these little windows of water. These windows last quite a while longer than I would have expected and look really cool gleaming in the light.
