In the updated version of "https://pinshape.com/items/25939-3d-printed-water-jet-pump," the author shares details of his axial pump designed for large boats, producing a flow rate of 192 L/m and an exit velocity of 2.1 m/s. The objective was to create a high flow, low pressure pump with ample pushing force. After four iterations, the current version features a printed prop as the only change. The test setup involved 1 meter of 40mm high-pressure PVC piping, a 90-degree elbow, and two 15-degree bends, with an elevation difference of 400mm. Powered by a 540-sized motor (3300kV) with a 3:1 gearbox and driven by a 2-cell Redback lipo battery, the pump's prop is a 2-bladed model purchased from a hobby shop with an OD of 56mm and a 4mm threaded center. The shaft is made of 4mm rigid stainless steel, housed in an 8mm brass casing. The entire design is printed using ABS, and a YouTube video showcasing the pump can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfzsSC7RhS4.
