I'm Frustrated, no kitchen timer in sight... *cracks knuckles* ... Time to Get Creative and Make My Own Timer Using Two 2L Water Bottles Lying Around. The Basic Concept is Simple: Join the Bottles Together with an Elongated Nut Featuring a Solid Plate with Two Tubes that Allow Air to Flow One Way and Water to Flow in Another at a Controlled Rate. My Experiments Have Resulted in About 1000ml of Water Giving Me Close to 10 Minutes of Time. This is Greatly Affected by Print Quality, as it Slows Things Down if There are Zits and Ridges Inside the "Flow Tubes". I Had Fun Printing and I'd Love to Know from Anyone with Expertise in Fluid Mechanics who Can Help Me Calculate the Exact Aperture of the Holes to Make it 1000ml // 10 min.
