Water Hexes for Gloomhaven and D&D. Easy to print and simple to paint. These water hexes were created with OpenSCAD to form a two-part hexagon using the hull() function for the chamfer. Next, some 2D water patterns were extruded, turned into negative spaces, and combined with the two models. To customize these water hexes, simply resize them to fit your preferred game hex size, or change their height by applying a negative Z offset. This will allow you to create varying levels of depth for your underwater terrain. The more intricate model consists of four individual cuts from a grayscale pattern, all layered in as negative space. These could also be repurposed as brambles or vines, as Mr. M notes that they resemble rough seas. Enjoy these water hexes and have fun adding them to your Gloomhaven and D&D games!
