This wrench adapter fits a Camco 02142 or similar water heater element featuring a 1.5" hex head. Turning it requires a 13/16" wrench. Designed to facilitate installing a heater element through the wall of an ice chest, this DIY sous vide cooker project involves making a hole in both inner and outer walls separated by foam insulation. The hole is initially drilled with a 1.25" diameter bit, then enlarged to 2" in diameter, followed by scraping away foam insulation around it. Installing the heater element requires using a plastic conduit nut sized for 1" conduit, such as Grainger item 2DZG8 (goo.gl/YLgPTS), or Thomas & Betts Steel City BU503-1 plastic bushing. Print settings are as follows: Printer - Flashforge Creator Pro; Rafts - Yes; Supports - Yes; Resolution - Any; Infill - 100%. Print with 100% infill and supports. The 13/16" hex stud end must be down when printing, while a raft may or may not be required.
