Water Droplet Display

This is a 30h+ print, so make sure the print settings are optimized to eliminate support structures completely. Removing them would be nearly impossible otherwise! A support overhang angle of around 75 degrees effectively eliminates all internal supports while still providing the necessary support for printing inlet ports. Additionally, I recommend printing the main body upside down, which ensures a smooth finish on the nozzles and a straight flow of droplets leaving them. Printing in this orientation also minimizes waste by starting support from the enclosure upwards, only when needed. This design is the result of my initial intention to create an aesthetically pleasing body around a solenoid valve actuated water droplet text display. Although functional, the precision required for displaying letters can only be achieved by releasing the droplet directly from the valves. The reservoir assembly is available for download here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4049207 The final result of this design can be seen in this video: https://youtu.be/w2xGADQb0PE If you need something designed, I'm always open to a collaboration - just drop me a line on Fiverr at https://www.fiverr.com/share/pdgm9N.
