Water Drop Collection - Pendant

Before I began designing this jewelry, I had to consider every detail. First and foremost was ELLE style, which meant figuring out exactly what it entails. It should appeal to confident, positive women who exude self-assurance, so I started there. Self-confident women, in my opinion, wear conspicuous jewelry that's quite large and impressive. Positive women, on the other hand, require a balance between boldness and subtlety, so I aimed for something striking yet gentle. Feminine beauty is all about showcasing a woman's elegance, which led me to favor smooth shapes over others. Since this collection had to embody ELLE style, it also needed to be unlike anything seen before. Lastly, I decided against incorporating stones into the design. With these conditions in mind, I could start sketching. The result should be eye-catching yet refined, emphasize a woman's beauty, feature smooth curves, exclude stones, and boast an innovative concept – all while being easy to produce. That was quite a challenge! I chose two types of gold and spent countless hours drawing until I settled on a collection centered around the theme of a drop of water. Why this specific theme? As fate would have it, there was a light rain outside during my drawing session, and the idea just clicked. I decided to depict the drop in white gold and the rest in yellow. The collection consists of a ring, pendant, and earrings. To demonstrate the overall effect, I've included a photo showcasing all the designs together. Each piece is straightforward to print and then transform into wax models for mass production. Regarding the pendant, I crafted smooth shapes to capture the drop of water, giving it the illusion that it's falling from above. The drop and rest of the pendant were created separately.
