Water Drop Collection - Earrings

Before starting to design this jewelry, I had to consider all factors. First, I thought about ELLE style, what it exactly means. It should appeal to feminine, positive, and self-confident women, so I began from there. Self-confident - When designing jewelry for this kind of woman, I believe it should be eye-catching, so quite large and massive. Positive - This means it can't be too big and massive, so I needed to create something interesting for this eye-catching effect, something more subtle. Feminine - This means the jewelry should highlight and emphasize a woman's beauty. For this purpose, I decided to use smooth shapes (which work better than other types of shapes). Because it had to be in ELLE style, there was one more condition - it should be completely different from anything before. The last condition was that it shouldn't include a stone in the design. After considering all these factors, I could start making drawings. In sum, it should be eye-catching but in a very gentle way, emphasize a woman's beauty, have smooth shapes, no stones, and be completely new, and of course, easy to produce. That's a nice challenge. I decided to use two kinds of gold. After many drawings, I decided to make a collection with the main theme - drop of water. Why this kind of theme? During drawing, it was raining outside, and I thought I'd try that one. I drew a few concepts, and I decided it works perfectly for me. The drop was made from white gold, while the rest was yellow. I designed a ring, pendant, and earrings. To show what kind of effect is given by a full collection, I attach a picture of all designs together. All parts are easy to print and later easy to make wax models for bigger production. About earrings - To have a full effect, I made a complete collection. For the earrings, the drop was caught in a V shape. I designed them on a chain to have a little twirling effect during wearing. The drop of water and the rest of the earring are prepared separately.
