This is a compact assembly designed to accommodate one 5mm-LED and one 3mm photo transistor. The components are arranged in such a way that placing a mirror 3mm below the base plate will create maximum reflection. I utilize this setup to detect the rotating mirror on a water counter, enabling me to measure the water consumption rate accurately. The design has been optimized for use with standard analog water counters, specifically by HamburgEnergy. This assembly is also available as a separate file (Wasserzaehler-sensor2.stl). Additionally, I have created a generic design that includes a 5mm LED and a 5mm photodiode, along with a dedicated holder flange (files: Wasserzaehler-halter.stl and Wasserzaehler-sensor.stl). However, I'm unsure if this design will fit your specific water counter. If you require adjustments for compatibility, please let me know.
