Water-cooled Heat Sink v6-Style
thingiverse
This is designed to be crafted from aluminum! A printed version might not work out so well for you. I've narrowed down the width of my custom heatsink to 26mm wide on personal models, maintaining the same design but smaller and lighter. My current heatsink weighs 22 grams. This is my take on a water-cooled heat sink for my 3D printer, made from aluminum using my lathe and mini mill. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/EZmdORQ1xZo Note that this model utilizes the M12x1.5 threaded top; I'll add the standard top when I get a chance. Threaded for the standard v6 M7x1 heatbreak. This design features an all-metal construction, no PTFE tube needed. Water fittings sourced from McMaster-Carr: https://www.mcmaster.com/5454k62 I'm using the E3D water cooling pump/radiator system.
