Water Buffalo Book Ends
thingiverse
A thrift store find, a wood carving replica created by Autodesk ReCap Photo, turned out to be a mirrored pair meant for bookends. Standing at 125 mm high, they hold a significant presence. The smaller, solid version, "buffalo_solid.stl," measures about 50 mm in height. To create the larger model, it was scaled up by 2, hollowed according to thing:2764145's instructions, and fitted with a screw closure to form "buffalo_hollow.stl." To replicate this process, visit https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2781346 for detailed guidance on crafting the closure. The screw threads were generated using "threads.scad," a script available at http://dkprojects.net/openscad-threads/.
