Water Bottle Cap

Designed to fit Nalgene style widemouth bottles, including some CamelBak bottles and MSR Dromedary Bags perfectly. A tight seal can be achieved by using an optional gasket, but this depends on the bottle's design, materials used, print resolution, and other factors. The gasket should be printed in a rubbery material like NinjaFlex. To coat the inside of the cap, I used Knotwork Woodwax, which is my sister's website. Although it's not designed for plastic, it adds a water-repellent and food-safe coating. Print the cap upright without support material for best results. I updated this design on October 1, 2014, with a new version that should be easier to twist and more likely to work without an additional gasket.
