I highly recommend printing version 2 of this holder - it's significantly stronger than the original design, which tends to break at its sharp angles. Several users have commented that they prefer the look of the newer design over the older one. You can find version 2 here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:934698 I created this design because my old bike lacked water bottle cage mounts, so I designed a printable cage with channels for wire ties to securely attach it to the frame. Although I used VHB tape to reinforce the attachment, the wire ties have held up well during testing - I've used the holder twice now and it seems to be working as intended. For your reference, I'm including both the STL file and the source SOLIDWORKS file. Please feel free to modify or share any derivative works you create based on this design.
