A 50mm flat torch glass is the recommended choice for this application, but if unavailable, a 50mm mineral watch glass can be used as a suitable substitute. The tool is specifically designed to accommodate 1.5mm thick glass and should function without issues with slightly thicker glass, such as 2mm.
