Watch Strap

Update (30/10/2019): Added a second version of the sleeve that's stronger, with two bottom prongs that prevent the sleeve from opening, snapped off. The new sleeve is also slightly lower profile but a bit wider. I added a plain link without a groove for an inlay just because. In short, my watch strap broke and I needed another one fast. So I made it myself! This strap fits comfortably on my wrist with a width that matches my specific timepiece perfectly. The strap is 2cm wide and features a locking clip mechanism to secure the strap to my wrist. The design allows for easy assembly using lengths of 1.75mm filament as dowels to hold the links together for added strength and smooth rotation. The Sleeve should be placed over the female clip before attaching it to the rest of the links. I printed my strap in wood filament and colored PLA. In short, I highly recommend printing this if you're a tinkerer who's okay with adjusting the design to suit your specifications.
