Another valuable tool for timepiece repair enthusiasts at http://timeguy.com is this parametric OpenSCAD model designed to craft watch movement holders. Tested designs are included for 12s, 16s, and 18s movements. After minor finishing touches via sanding, all models functioned properly. The notches visible in the accompanying photo were also created post-printing. A previously untested holder for an Accutron 214 has been added to the collection following a request in the comments. This new design is based on precise measurements: 28.9, 26.1, 24.5, and 27.8mm with corresponding heights of 2, 4, 9, and 13mm. Timeguy does not require one and unfortunately, I do not have any 214s to test it with. An untested holder for a 17s movement is also now available. Note the fudge factor function F(x). I discovered that I had to increase inside diameters by 0.25mm on my printer. If your requirements differ, you can regenerate the models with alternative F(x) offsets or utilize slicer functionality similar to cura's "horizontal expansion".
