Watch Dogs: Legion Gasmask
thingiverse
I really wanted to create the gasmask from Watch Dogs: Legion, so I did! Partlist: Gasmask: FM12. ELtape: 50mm wide red/orange, 50mm wide green. USB Cable: 3-to-1 USB Connector. Batterypack: mAh doenst matter, but you want enough! The gasmask I used is a dutch FM12. (I bought it from a marine who didnt used it anymore.) I also really wanted to make the gasmask compatible with EL Tape (You can get this really cheaply online, as long its only 50mm wide. Length doesnt matter, you can cut it down.), so the gasfilter and eye will actually glow. After I got everything, I started modeling a gasfilter that looks more like ingame. The gasfilter is split into two pieces (both models need support when printing), so you can put the cables that are attached to the EL tape inside the filter. The gasfilter has screw thread on it, so it screws right onto the gasmask. There is a custom sticker on it, wich I made using a vinylcutter. I did the same thing for the eye, cut the EL tape to size, place the custom sticker, attach it into the eye socket with some tape, and voilà! Route all the wires from the EL tape into the gasfilter, connect them there into the 3-to-1 USB connector, and feed that wire back out, towards the place where you put your batterypack.
